Background
At Woodworking Plus, craftsmanship runs deep in our blood. Founded by Ed and his son Tyler in the heart of rural South Carolina, our workshop is more than a business, it's a legacy.
Ed brings a background of discipline and dedication from his years serving in the U.S. Air Force. But long before that, woodworking was already part of his DNA. Both his maternal and paternal grandfathers were skilled artisans, crafting beautiful, timeless pieces by hand. As a young boy, Ed would wander into their workshops, mesmerized by the scent of sawdust and the quiet magic of wood being transformed into art.
Those early memories became a lifelong passion. What started as a hobby to balance his work life has now grown into a full-time pursuit, shared with the next generation. Together with his son, Ed is building on the traditions passed down by "Papa and Grandaddy," honoring their spirit in every board planed and every joint set true.
At Woodworking Plus, we believe in the beauty of handmade craftsmanship, the strength of family, and the power of legacy. We’re proud to carry the torch forward, guided by memory, driven by passion, and always inspired by those who came before us.
